Okay so let me preface this by saying that I know that there’s a whole pet section, and mods please feel free to move this is you really don’t feel it’s appropriate here, buuuut I thought it might be nice to have a thread specifically for all the TTC’ers pets.
I know in the pet section there are plenty of threads like this, but I feel that maybe one in the TTC section might be nice, because for me I feel like sometimes in the process of TTC it gets really hard, and it’s nice to cuddle up and kiss our fur babies, and just enjoy how much we love them and how nice it is to have them in our lives. 🙂
My husband and I have 2 fur babies together- they are both American Bulldogs >_< The white one is named Jack and he’s going to be 4 in November, and the brindle one is Penny and she will be 3 in November. Love them to bits!
The last pic is of them in our RV haha, yes they have doggie seatbelts on 😉

Crack up. They need t-shirts saying they are going to be big brothers.

Thank you! 🙂
LOL that would be amazing! >_< Though I think Jack (the white one) might bust at the seams, haha he has quite a broad chest 😉
Do either of you have any pets? Also (curious), does anyone else here call their pets fur babies or is it just me? 😛 I’d love to see pics of all of your lovely cuddlebugs!
Oh and of course this thread isn’t limited to dogs!

My babies are both sitting on the couch with me as I type. I got my BFN today (and DH is out of town) so it is especially comforting to have them around.

I like this thread…I think furbabies are very related to TTC. Your doggies are sooo cute. Here are my furbabies Pushkin and Gogol. DH and I enjoy being mommy and daddy to them. They are certainly sometimes as much work as children. 🙂

Omg they are so cute! I’m really sorry to hear about your BFN. 🙁 *hugs* I know exactly what you mean though, it’s especially nice to have them home with me when DH is not here (he teaches a class in the evenings a few times a week), it’s nice to be greeted by them when I come home, and I just feel the house is more “alive”. >_< By the way I love pugs! Haha obviously we’re fans of wrinkly dogs! 😉
Adorable!! How old is he/she?? What a sweet face!
Thanks! I’m glad you agree with me! 🙂 I was really hoping I wouldn’t annoy anyone by starting this thread here lol, I just thought that exactly, pets (at least for me) are kids in their own right and it’s really special to have them in our lives. Your cats are SO beautiful! I’m jealous cause I’m allergic to cats haha :/ Otherwise we’d probably have a bunch! 😛 Oh and I love their names! LOL @ Pushkin!

I have two fur babies, Iona and Xander (our lil guy). We are foster parents for our local shelter and adopted both. My big girl we got when she was four, Xander when he was 3 weeks old. It’s been such a neat journey to raise him from such a tiny peanut!
I joke that I’m a closeted crazy cat lady. 🙂 They make my day so much better and follow me everywhere, hubby’s a little jealous they are so attached to me!
Sorry for the huge pics! D:

Wow that’s so great that you foster pets! I have such admiration for that! 🙂 As mentionned above I’m allergic, but if I wasn’t I think fostering cats would be an amazing thing! (for us dogs is just a bit too much work to foster and not adopt/raise ourselves).
Iona and Xander are beautiful names! Curious, which one is which in the pics? I know you said Xander is the little guy, but on the pics I have trouble seeing which is the smaller one lol. For some reason I picture your black cat as the male and the tabby as a female, just something about their expressions! Of course I could be wrong! 😛
LOL that photo of your black cat with his paws up is reeediculously cute!! Your tabby is simply beautiful! The orange colouring and stripe down her face is really unique! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

What kind of puppy is Waverly? I’m in love!
His name is Comet by the way 🙂

There’s no way I’d be able to look at a grinning golden anot NOT smile right back!
Comet like from Full House, huh?
As for me- I’m 11w4d and have two great danes & a very bossy fluffy mutt.
and for good measure (and more puppy pics!) here is one of them looking out of our front window:
aaaand one of them at the river (last one, I promise!):
