I can’t see it as I am not a member, but have you looked into vintage.  I have several vintage fur pieces and I love them.  I have a vintage stole that I will be wearing for pics.

I had the same problem since I am not a member. What about local thrift stores or ebay or etsy? It may take some hunting but I bet you will find something.

I see chic little fur capes and cropped jackets ALL THE TIME at estate sales. Check out http://www.estatesales.net and see if there are any upcoming sales around you, a lot include descriptions that mention fur coats 🙂

Do you have a family member you can borrow one from?  Like a grandma or aunt?  That would surely bring the cost down. 😉  I’m curious, though, and would love to see the coat…there’s not a way for you to save and upload the photo here?

I don’t know that wearing fur is a good idea at a wedding.  The only statement that fur makes is “I don’t care about any other being in this world and I lack any ounce of compassion for my fellow inhabitants”.  Is that really the message you want to send to people on your wedding day?  Besides, fur is just slowly rotting skinned animal flesh and the only people that wear it are usually old ladies, hookers or ghetto queens like Beyonce.  Just sayin’ – you should reconsider.

@luckyprincess –  When it becomes your decision on what to wear, than you get to make that decision.  The OP wasn’t asking for opinions she was asking where to find one.  I find that very offensive to be calling people who choose to wear fur “usually old ladies, hookers or ghetto queens like Beyonce.”

@luckyprincess: Then I have a simple solution for you: Don’t wear fur at YOUR wedding. And I certainly hope you don’t own leather shoes, belt or handbag…wouldn’t want to be carrying around any “slowly rotting skinned animal flesh.” 😉

I can’t see the coat your interested in – but have you checked out ebay?  I got a really nice, vintage, blonde mink wrap for $40:

It’s really nice in person!

@luckyprincess: What a nasty thing to say. I think it was totally uncalled for as your opinion of wearing fur wasn’t asked, was it?

There’s always one in every crowd.

I second checking vintage or second hand clothing stores and also Ebay. I’ve gotten some great ones myself!
