cls9q:  “it’s really hard to be super nice and lovey to a baby you have to take care of if you strongly dislike their parent”

Did you REALLLY just say that??? You work at a daycare, and you would hold a crappy parent’s behavior against a child? Holy sweet effing jeepers. You need to find a different career path.

As a parent, I find this really upsetting and disturbing. I LOVE my childcare provider, but part of our relationship includes me standing up for the care I think my child should be getting. I have had mature conversations with the provider about things I disagree with that had happened…if I knew my childcare provider was holding our disagreements against my child, I would lose my mind. Responsible care providers do NOT act so immaturely.

urchin:  +10000 for real! My thoughts exactly.

To OP I can’t believe how ridiculous this thread has gotten! If I were you I would be pissed too. I wouldn’t want to share underwear with anyone, how is a reusable diaper any different?

People getting offended over your “snark” should go back and read their own damn comments lol.

I haven’t read a lot of this thread but I side with the OP.

As someone who also is “crazy” enough to spend $25/diaper (actually $28 because they’re more expensive in Canada), I would be super pissed if they lost some of my diapers!

I’d be pissed if someone lost something like that too. Although I really don’t think it was malicious. Daycares are crazy places and things get most and mixed up. If you don’t want it to happen don’t put your child in a large daycare and find something smaller. Or use a cheaper alternative you don’t want lost at daycare. For clothing as well.
