Hello Bees,
My bf and I were talking today and he mentioned that his mother and him were talking on mother’s day about rings (we are not engaged yet but talking heavily about engagement rings) and she said she had a pair of diamond earrings she would like us to consider using in the ring. I dont know the carat size, but I do know the earrings were $1500. I prefer non diamond center stones with a diamond halo. Is there anyway to make these diamonds fit? Is it possible if they are small enough they could go in the halo? Are there rings with a halo and three stones?Could I work them into a wedding band? I asked him that a picture or more details would be helpful, as I love his family and would be honored to have them included. I’ll add details as I get them, just wondering if anyone might have ideas based off of what I know?

Depends on your center stone, but they can absolutely add side stones to a halo!

My original engagement ring was a split shank halo over three stones- 1.6 carat center stone and 0.2 carat side stones. I loved this ring but when i added the wedding band it felt too busy for me so I ended up swapping it to a solitaire. Congratulations on bling talk! That’s super exciting!

It really depends on the size of the stones but there’s all sorts of things you can do! I think something like these would be stunning:

When I was resetting my wedding set, my original ering was a three stone but I really wanted a halo. Here are some of the three stone halos I considered, ultimately I just went with a cushion halo and used the three diamonds from my ering for a pendent and earrings set but I loved these

You could turn them into peekaboo stones OR better yet, create matching bands and each of you has one of her diamonds in it.

I have a basic halo setting where my jeweler removed two diamonds from either side of the band and added two larger heart diamonds instead to make it more of a three stone. You can totally do something like this, or I also love the look of a halo around the two side stones as well!
