Nope. My His brothers wife will not be a Bridesmaid. That role in my opinion is the people close to me. While I love her, she isn’t my best friend.

I still dont understand these posts (there are a lot on this topic), and the people that say No or its not a big deal. I think it can be a little bit hurtful not to include siblings and in-laws in the bridal party (especially if you are having a bigger one) unless there is a reason you dont like them or they specifically requested not to be in it. I dont understand the negative to including them in the event (you will see them the rest of your life, dont you want them in your photos?) If cost is the main issue, arent they already in the rehersal dinner price (I assume in most cases they are in it). Is it the cost of flowers and an additional gift? I also think its a little odd to want to leave them out, but that is not the norm in my family.
