@simone_s:  I don’t know about better than Tacori, I haven’t ever compared in person, however I personally like the Gabriel & Co styles better. They are high quality and imo better than Shane Co for sure.

I don’t really know much about Tacori rings, or the pricing of Gabriel and Co compared to others, but I love my Gabriel and Co ring. I think the quality and detailing are great. I’ve had my e-ring for a year and haven’t had a single issue. I will also be geting my wedding band from them. I’ve never heard of Shane and Co.

My fiancé picked a Gabriel & Co setting for me, I don’t know anything about the other brands but he said it was a great experience for him. He had to order it in the smallest size they make and it took about 3 weeks to come in to the jeweller he used. After he proposed and gave it to me we had to have it resized down more (I have small fingers). I’ve had it since December and love it, amazing quality!

I have a G&Co ring, it’s a super thin 1.5mm chathedral band with tiny scrolls under the basket. I love these teensy little flourishes, and I agree that they detailing is fantastic. Mine’s set with a white sapphire, but here it is from the top and side.

I haven’t bought from them yet because we are still working through design issues with my ring which are mostly due to the local jeweler (middleman). G&Co themselves are awesome, and are going above and beyond for me & my special requests. I just really wish I could work directly with them vs having to go through a jeweler, as two different jewelers have been unable to properly convey my wishes, despite multiple power point slides with every detail specified. I could have had my ring by now if i didnt have to go through middle men. But i understand why they have that arrangement. It just sucks, and while i love the G&Co ring i picked out, i am close to scrapping the plan and going in a different direction. I have talked with G&Co customer service, and they are awesome … The local jewelers … Meh!  So make sure you have a jeweler who understands your wishes if you are trying to do any customization on the G&Co setting. G&Co WILL do customization of their settings (don’t let jewelers fool you into thinking you need to have the local guy do it … They are just trying to make the bucks) and G&Co is reasonable with the pricing as well. So insist on G&Co doing it so you don’t void your warranty or compromise your setting’s structural integrity.

Good luck! I might go to the next town north and try another jeweler one more time so I can hopefully get the ring of my dreams. I really do feel like G&Co has very quality products, though I cannot attest to any comparisons with other items.

I just got mine yesterday! I also can’t compare because I basically picked my ring immediately and wasn’t going to listen to anyone else anyways. Their service was great though

I’ll need to get a better picture. It was dark last night and it’s still dark now.

I love my G&Co ring 🙂 I love te details that they put into their settings. I personally wasn’t a fan of the Tacori settings, but I don’t know that G&Co is better per say.

My Gabriel ring.   http://www.gabrielny.com/engaged/style/ER5651PT4JJ

There were no local jewellers close enough to me so I ordered it online through IDJ Jewelry in USA.  I paid $1500 through IDJ instead of the $2325 listed on Gabriel website.

I had to wait 2 weeks for Gabriel to make the ring from scratch in my size.  I really like the fact that it didn’t exist until I ordered it!  I love my ring.  It feels heavy, durable, and the detail is lovely.

I love Gabriel & Co. They have numerous different style of settings. Their rings have very nice detailings. And their price is very reasonable too.

I got my Gabriel & Co setting from a local jeweller.
