@simone_s: I am expecting my gabriel & co. custom ring any day now! I will DEFINATELY be posting pictures!! I think they make a gorgeous ring, intricate detailing and a good variety of styles available.  Excellent to customize with in my experience. (tho i guess the proof is in the pudding and I havent seen the finished product with diamonds set yet) The price point was reasonable, a good value IMO.  My custom setting with diamond halo worked out to be around $1300ish without the diamonds (its a 3 stone too!).

@JoCoJenn:  I did actually order a modified gabriel ring too! I liked a specific halo and the profile, with a plain shank.  But 3 stone. And a bunch of other little modifications and requests =P. I really hope my jeweler did a good job conveying the message.  I was a little concerned because I never saw a mock-up, sketch, nothing… which seems odd to me personally.

btw, shane co and gabriel & co rings are manufactured by the same places.  They may carry different styles, but almost all of them are produced in the same factories…so quality of workmanship isn’t really an issue.

@simone_s:  I worked for 4 major jewelry manufacturers who made jewelery for both companies (i used to work in a tech consulting capacity with a focus on fine jewelry.)  They might have different styles, but most of “their” lines are made in the same places.  Those manufacturers also make stuff for zales, kay, helzberg, jarded, jcpenny, sams club/walmart, etc.  Sometimes the metals are slightly different but usually it’s just the stamp.
