- Wedding: October 2015
Oh ladies. The roommate saga continues lol.
So my roommate (let’s call her A). A’s best friend broke up with her boyfriend. The best friend and boyfriend had JUST bought a house together. She had already moved in with him and all her stuff is now there.
Then over the weekend, they break up. A comes to me and asks me if her best friend can move in.
Since I would be the world’s biggest bitch if I say no, I said yes.
So instead of having two roommates, I now have three. Until October, anyway. My other roommate (let’s call her B) is moving out in October and A’s best friend is taking over B’s room.
I honestly feel bad for this girl. It can’t be easy buying a house with your boyfriend then breaking up weeks later. And the house is in the boyfriend’s name so obviously, she has to be the one to move out.
I feel sorry for this girl…but I also don’t want her here. But I guess there’s nothing I can do about it. A did say that she would help with the electric bill. (We have individual leases and rent includes everything except electric. The electric bill is split evenly among the three of us.)
So I guess as long as she doesn’t make our electric bill go up, I don’t really have anything to complain about.
And once B moves out in October, then I’ll be back down to two roommates instead of three.
But this is kind of the last straw for me. I told my Boyfriend or Best Friend last night that after my real estate class is over in November, I’m applying for a part-time job. That will supplement my current income and I’ll be able to afford to move out and get my own place in January.
I told Boyfriend or Best Friend that I’m moving out, no matter what. With or without him. He can just move in officially later down the road once he starts making more money. I’m just so sick of roommates. I outgrew the roommate thing a long time ago.
So that’s it. I’m getting a part-time job in November and moving into my own place in January when my lease expires! Yay! 🙂
