Great to hear you’re feeling well!

I dont know what your current weight/height is but you can lose 10 lbs in a month being healthy and working out. You can obviously lose more if you’re super careful about what you eat and work out a tonnn. I wouldn’t advise the latter if you’re just getting back to good health. Sudden weight loss isn’t super healthy and it sounds like he loves you just the way you are!!

Cross fit is awesome but exercising 2x a week isn’t enough (even if you weren’t trying to lose weight)! I’d say 5x a week + weight watchers type diet & you will lose.

Add cardio too- Crossfit is a great tone-up workout, but cardio is the fatburner.

I’m with you on how you feel.  I gained weight and told my Fiance he can’t propose until I’ve lost at least 20 out of the 30 lbs I gained.  I’m down 10, but now I want him to wait until I lose 20 more.  I just feel like I need to be at my best self before I can embark on that sort of journey.  It’s only fair to both of us, I think!

ETA;  I wish I could try CrossFit.  But, it’s REALLY expensive.

@vintagebride143:  If you can afford it, go you!  I just can’t justify that expense right now.  I keep saying I’m going to start insanity.  Andddd then I don’t.  haha

Run, run, run.  I was slowly working out to lose weight for years – and I did lose about 30 pounds over about two years in gyms.  When I started running outside, the weight literally dissipated in a couple of months.  Even male friends commented on how suddenly my weight dropped when I started running – and as an added bonus I was so toned as well.  I never thought I could be a runner…I would be out of breath after less than a minute.  But I noticed that I had a few heavier friends that ran 5k and 10k races, and if they could do it why couldn’t I? I went to runnersworld.com and found training plans and started…and within a month or two I could run for 7 miles straight.  I also used a website like http://www.caloriecount.com to track what I was eating.  I ended up losing a total a total of 50 lbs (about 20 lbs from running)…and then I got engaged!  Seeing the pictures from my engagement party I was so happy that I had lost the weight.  I feel amazing and like everything in my life is fitting together like a puzzle.

You can do it! Work at it every day…get out and move!
