Is there a different pill that you could try?  They have different hormones and formulations which might affect your body differently.

As for losing weight, are you counting calories?  That’s the only way I lose weight.

I agree, different hormones work different ways. I noticed the shot made me want more food, but i also tracked every bit of it so i kept it away and after a few months, the cravings and weirdness went away.

I’m with missAsB, you just have to count calories and work out. And if you’re at a plateau, you have to do something to break it.

Going off birth control isn’t an option for me, and it doesn’t sound it is for you, either. I have endometriosis and i met with a medical nutritionist who put me on a low-inflammatory diet (there are websites out here touting them!) and a few months later when i menstruated, i noticed my cramps weren’t as bad! I’m also on ibuprofen nearly every day to keep inflammation in general down–really, really helpful with my period. I haven’t been taking vicodin for the cramps, anyways! Eh, something to consider!

Well, if it were me i would have one of two outlooks 1) Enjoy my curves. Boost my confidence and spend a little extra on the ultra-perfect dress. 2) stop eating carbs RIGHT NOW. Dedicate myself to going to the gym everyday, eating in a super controlled way (giving yourself one day to indulge)

I’m actually not sure which one i would pick …

I hope your future hubby is supportive and loving towards you. You deserve it!
