Me- no more than what I would spend on a “me” shopping day- so a couple hundred (like 2. Max) …. and only if we had planned ahead for it.

It’s all pretty relative to your financial situation…. We just don’t have a lot of extra “play” money these days…..  But, I’m sure some people would be comfortable with far more!

First of all, I love Foxwoods!! 🙂  We’ve never gambled there, but Darling Husband and I have a friend in the area, so we’ve gone with her a few times for drinks.  We like Mohegan Sun too when we go to visit.

Anyways, if we were to gamble, we would probably take cash (no cards) and maybe $100 max.  We don’t really gamble as it is, and I know myself well enough to know I would get suckered in way too easily.  So, that’s how we would do it.  I think anything over that would be too much money for us to lose right now, so ask youself that question when deciding a good amount.

150 max… that’s if it’s a once in a blue moon gambling trip. I don’t really gamble, but when my mom does she takes 150, and if it’s all gone then that’s too bad. she doesn’t reach for more.

I HATE gambling…so I would be super biased and say I’m not comfortable with Darling Husband spending any 🙂 But, that wouldn’t be fair. Last time Darling Husband went to the casino (he goes once every couple of years), he spent $100 at the poker tables. I suppose it just depends on your financial situation/your personal views on gambling.

@mrs_g.mck:  If it’s a once a year thing maybe $500 for blackjack, the cost of hands can get hight depending on the table limits and you want enough money to actually be able to work with.

Neither Fiance nor I are big gamblers. Last time we went to the Casino for a concert we spent $60 on drinks and $10 on slots.

I know Fiance likes to play the tables sometimes, but I doubt he would spend over $60 and I wouldn’t be comfortable with him playing over $100.
