I am thinking of having some lawn games for our outdoor wedding, like cornhole…I like the idea of people being able to do stuff other than just stand around during cocktail hour!

We did a game with a similar concept of musical chairs…We’d start with about 7 people, and the DJ would call out an object that the guests would have to find (coins, driver’s licenses, a high heel shoe, etc). The guests would have to find it off another guest and bring it back, but each time one chair would be taken away. The last person to return would be out. The winner got to dance the macaraina with myself and the groom (Cheesy I know, but it was fun). It worked out well.

@Runnat:  We are having a cornhole! It is pretty big on the east coast, which is where the majority of my dads family is from. I wanted to incorporate it for that reason, and to also have something else to do, other than stand around during the cocktail hour.
