I don’t think anyone will even notice. What I DO notice, tho, is that your head table will have your bridal party showing everyone else their backs? Is there a reason it isn’t going across the front of the room?

I don’t think it would be odd to have two tables with nine people at all, no matter where the tables are.  But, you have 8 tables that hold 10 people.  8×10=80 right?  So are you not short 8 seats for your 88 guests, unless you are counting the wedding party as guests.  Just curious, why is your dance floor between the tables rather than down closer to the fireplace?  What will you be doing with that space?

Oh,no…are you REALLY being seated directly in front of the band? Don’t you know how noisy it will be and how much of a headache you’ll have after the music is blasting in your head and how impossible it will be to have any sort of conversation?

Seating by the DJ or band is usually reserved for your ‘not so favorite’ guests. πŸ˜›

I hope so! It’s usually the noisiest place, and especially when they have to use larger speakers over the noise of the crowd to even be heard. You might be OK, but it’s worth asking about.

the ‘gaps’ will be fine…i don’t think anyone would question it at all πŸ™‚

I think it’s fine that there’s a gap of one seat at the tables–not something to worry about!
