I have the SAME issue with my marquise with baguettes. I am actually thinking of getting a completely different ring as a result. I know they do make curved bands but I don’t know. How about the jeweler your ring came from? Can they help?

That’s not my hand (I don’t have my wedding band yet) but I imagine that is similar to how mine will look.

I love my engagement ring and I don’t care if there will be a gap because there is a halo.

Your ring is gorgeous and I don’t think you will mind the gap. If however you really hate the gap, you could always get a ring custom made.

I have the same issue. Have you tried curved bands? I tried it with mine and it looks really nice (I think) though unfortuantely didn’t take a picture. You could also look at the type of band that has a small gap in the ring where the band is thin and flat that slips under your “crown”. Speak to a jeweller about custom work, they should be able to help you with some ideas and get you something that works.

Good luck!

Girl if you like it, then rock that gap! Wearing your engagement ring on a separate hand would be beautiful too, I LOVE your ring.

@inloveweddingfever:  I think it looks so good with the band! Yes there’s a gap but who cares!

Though considering how much bling is on your finger already, I would get a plain band but that decision is yours lol.

I have the same issue with a princess halo. πŸ™‚  your jeweler (or almost any jeweler) should be able to get or make a simple, solid band with a curve in the right place to snuggle with your e-ring…. not sure why you’re having a hard time finding someone to do this… where do you live?

I don’t see anything wrong with a gap. I’ll probably have a gap on my finger too, but I don’t care. I love my engagement ring too much to not wear it.

inloveweddingfever – to be completely honest (that’s what you’re asking for – right?!?) I think wearing a straight across wedding band looks forced.

My neighbor had the similar problem with her ring (which was made for her – very unique) and she just had a wedding band made to fit right next to her E ring.  This option may cost you more (and know that is doesn’t have to be done right away) but I would do this.  I had to keep telling myself – I am going to wear these rings the rest of my life.  I want to be happy with them!  If that means spending a little more, then I would…
