Love that garter set!! I think you should do whatever you feel best in. I don’t think it would be weird if you mixed & matched-you could even do the Yankees one if you’ll do a garter toss & his favorite team for the celebration later.

I can’t wait until I look at garters. I’m thinking of doing a Miami Dolphins one for the Fiance (his favorite team-I could care less) & I’m still deciding if I should just do it for the after party or if it’s what I do the toss in.

Well, as a Boston fan, I would defintely say you should go with HIS team! 🙂

Well, I think you should stick with what you bought =)  It’s very cute (I am sports team neutral, so I am looking at just the aesthetics of it, lol) and the one that he will keep (the bigger one) actually is more a subtle look enhanced with the Yankees logo anyway!

No way Jose!  I did the same thing as you!  I purchased a garter set of my college in thier colors (something blue).  My Fiance did not go there and would never ask me to purchase/ wear one from his college.  It’s MY something blue, not HIS something blue.  Besides, the whole point is to toss it anyways, it should be something that is meaningful to you.

Let’s be real, does the groom really care about what colors or logo that is written on the garter? And if there was a garter for him to keep, it would just be tossed in a drawer somewhere, plus guys dont know the garter is “for them” I just think they see the garter as something to go “fetch!”

Ask your Fiance if he cares.  He probably doesn’t.  If he does, just wear the garter you like and the garter he likes.
