@calico61979: I got a toss garter and one for myself to keep. But I really think it’s up to you what you would like.

Here’s my “keep” garter. The toss is similar in size, but with black lace around it and a cluster of pearls in the middle instead of the flower and chain of pearls. I got them from Etsy.

I got both a toss garter and a keep garter. They came as a set. I bought them at a little wedding boutique. Mine are pretty simple because it’s not something I cared too much about, therefore, did not want to spend too much money on.

I plan on getting a toss garter and a keepsake one. The toss one would obviously be not as nice, and the keepsake one would be for later that night.. 😉 But as to where to buy them; I can’t help you out there unfortunately! I’ve got my eyes on some beautiful Florrie Mitton ones though..

Im making my own garter and it is pretty intense lace work so if i have time I will make a toss version but I have lots of projects to do before the wedding.

I made my garter & it’s the one that got tossed. Quite frankly I have no idea whether we took it back with us after the reception: I had too many things on my mind to care about it.
