I got 2 because the price was including 2. One for keepsake and one to toss!

Btw, Etsy has a ton of cute ones.

I got two- one to toss, one to keep.  I found them on the Knot shop and I think they were like $7 a piece?  Oh, they were blue too, so they were my ‘something blue’!

I got one, kept it somewhere safe until about 5 mins before the toss (didn’t feel like wearing it all day), and then the guy who caught it wore it on his arm the rest of the night, haha.

If you don’t care about keeping it and you’re buying a cheap one, then one is fine.

If you want to keep it as a keepsake (especially if you are paying a ton for it), then you want two – one cheap one to toss and your nice, pretty keeper. The keeper will go on the top and the toss one goes on the bottom. Do let your groom know if you have two, just in case he tosses the wrong one! Many Etsy sellers will include two in one order since they’re usually very cute ones.
