I can’t really give you any specifics but I had a client at our office who got married on one of these boats and they were very excited about it.  I recall they had it booked on one of the nights of the Pirates games, so there were going to be fireworks, and the captain was going to take them down and put them at a good location to watch the fireworks which I thought was a really cool thing!  Good luck and congratulations!

I have heard many good things about parties/proms/weddings on the Gateway Clipper.

I really don’t want to burst your bubble, but my experience on the fleet was not that great. My fiance and I attended a “2nd chance prom” on one of the ships, and I didn’t care for it. The ship was way overpacked to the point where you could barely move. The bathrooms were incredibly tiny. The ship, to me, smelled like wet carpet, and the food was bland at best.

I’m not sure which ship this was, and I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was just a bad night fluke, but my advice to you would be to make sure you see and tour every square inch of the actual ship that they’d be using for your wedding.

Again, I’ve never really heard anything bad about the Gateway Clipper, but my personal experience wasn’t very positive, so that’s my head’s up for you.

I hope I’m wrong, for your sake! Good luck! Smile
