You can wear a fake. Get something completely different and fun and it can become your “travel” ring ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, go to overstock.com, they have a lot of inexpensive pieces that will do just fine.

Overstock.com & Amazon.com always have beautiful rings you can use for travel, ring sizing, redipping, ect!

I didn’t wear anything when mine was gone, we had only been engaged for a little over a month and it was gone for almost an entire month, which kinda sucked because we had just come back from summer break and everyone wanted to see my ring. But oh well, I have it now.

Probably going to have to give mine up for awhile while it gets fixed. Just got it back from resizing. Bleh!

@ms.oregon.state: Just curious what the jeweler is going to change on the ring? What did it look like before and what will it look like when you get it back?

@ms.oregon.state: I wore fun rings when I was waiting on mine, too. Sadly, it does not stop guys from thinking you’re single, but at least your finger won’t feel bare!

I totally have a “stunt” e-ring — I got one that was made with sterling silver (center stone is CZ), so I feel like it doesn’t look totally cheap.

it helps ease the pain of not having your e-ring. and it’s fun to have a different ring to wear sometimes!

I have a fake ring that is very similar to my e-ring, but cost about $20. I wear it when I’m going to the gym. If I am out and about and want something a little mellower, I have a CZ eternity band I wear. I know it sounds crazy, but it keeps my real ring looking great for when I want to show it off. I also don’t have to freak out if I have to it off (i.e. lifting weights) or do something that may scratch it.
