I would love gelato any time!
But I like the idea of a ‘welcome gelato’, this could also cut down on line-ups as people would be arriving at slightly different times within say a half hour window or so prior to the ceremony.
There is the concern about getting full too though, I do this at weddings too because I love, love LOVE antipasto bars, often more than the meal- lol I wouldn’t even notice if you didn’t feed me a main course. So I can see myself filling up on antipasto and gelato and then feeling guilty because a nice dinner is being served and I’m already semi-full. (I just put half my dinner on my husband’s plate and he’ll be happy to finish it for me, he’s a bottomless pit that never seems to gain weight).
But I would want to find some way to work in the gelato because it’s such an awesome idea I wish we’d thought of it.
