Gelato truck during cocktail hour, weird or naw?

I would love gelato any time!

But I like the idea of a ‘welcome gelato’, this could also cut down on line-ups as people would be arriving at slightly different times within say a half hour window or so prior to the ceremony.

There is the concern about getting full too though, I do this at weddings too because I love, love LOVE antipasto bars, often more than the meal- lol I wouldn’t even notice if you didn’t feed me a main course. So I can see myself filling up on antipasto and gelato and then feeling guilty because a nice dinner is being served and I’m already semi-full. (I just put half my dinner on my husband’s plate and he’ll be happy to finish it for me, he’s a bottomless pit that never seems to gain weight).

But I would want to find some way to work in the gelato because it’s such an awesome idea I wish we’d thought of it.

No question: YES. It is probably what most guests will remember! I wish I had thought about it!

LOVE everything about this!! 🙂
The food truck idea is so fantastic and people can always “graze” throughout the entire wedding.  I think your thought process on cooling down on a hot day is wonderful!! 🙂

We had an ice cream van during our drinks reception and everyone  loved! Considering it was a pretty cold day it was actually a massive hit.

I think that there should definitely be some savory options, otherwise, go for it!
