@august_bride2bee:  Your dress is looking great, by the stripes do you mean the kind of rouching on the bodice? What is it that you don’t like about them? You could try putting a pic of your midproduction dress next to a pic of how you want the dress in paint and marking the differences to help you explain?

Babecake is really good at that and she wore a Gemma made by Jasmines for her wedding recently

🙂

@august_bride2bee:  I’m with happylizzle- not sure what you mean by stripes.

You’re the best person to pick out flaws- I only say this because it looks like you’ve requested changes like a deeper neckline so I’m not sure what other changes you have requested either.

I think tgey main critique i can add is that the midpoint of the neckline needs to be corrected- there’s an overlap of fabric that makes it look off-center

I think it looks great. I googled “vera wang up close” and a bunch of pics from weddingbee popped up with real brides wearing it. It looks spot on. Its better to see the dress on real peoople than models because the models and dresses are always touched up. The only part of your dress that is “off to the eye” is the bottom fold that connects to the “fluff” and thats being held on by pins so Im sure it will looks better once its sewn in place.

I cant wait to see its finished! 🙂

I don’t know if the original dress had it so excuse me for pointing it out but around the hip line area the ruching that is going down the front diagonally stands out for some reason and doesn’t look like it blends in well.

I think it looks beautiful too! Jasmine’s does a great job replicating this dress

I assume by “stripes” you mean rouching? That would be a major change IMO! I would let them know ASAP! Also, the right cup (left if you were actually in the dress) looks weird…like not symmetrical to the left cup and kind of loose (the fabric). Other than that, I like the dress!

I am having my dress made by Jasmine’s and I probably would have my dress by now, but I want it to look it’s best! There’s nothing wrong with expressing your desires, and James is awesome and very accommodating!

@august_bride2bee:  If you don’t mind me asking did you upgrade the materials?  And in terms of the “stripes” I agree with you the fabric looks a bit too wide to me and too horizontal.  It’s not blending well w/ the diagnonal ruching of the rest of the dress.

@august_bride2bee:  I see what you mean.  Looks like it is not finished as it looks pinned only.  I would ask Jasmines.
