I’m an adjunct instructor. I teach public speaking and debate classes at various universities and community colleges. My husband is getting his PhD in molecular biology to become an immunologist.

And this is my gorgeous sapphire ring!

Well the three ladies who posted before me are super accomplished! Way to represent the gemstone girls, Bees!

I just moved from the Midwest to west coast a few months ago and I’m in a bit of a transition now. I’m nannying right now in the mornings and then recruiting from home the rest of the day.

Regarding salaries, my Fiance and I could have gotten a diamond or any other pricier stone but we both would rather spend that money for travel and eventually buying a house smile

Not engaged (yet!), but we’ll be getting a gemstone–looking at sapphires.

I’m getting a Master’s in biology with plans to get a doctorate, and my SO is an engineer getting his PhD.

Wow, everyone is so ambitious on this thread! I went to beauty school, got married at 20, have had 3 kids in our 11 years of marriage so far and have stayed home since my first one was born.

My husband has a degree in accounting and is the hardest working person I know. I am so lucky to have him.

This is my anniversary blue sapphire ring.

Here’s a ring pic direct from my workplace. πŸ˜‰ I’m a librarian! My fiance is, too.

It’s a mint green sapphire, my favorite color. ^_^
