Here is my sapphire that was hand picked from a sapphire mine in Thailand! My fiance created the ring specifically for this stone and it makes the ring so much more special to me. I love the idea of gemstone engagement rings and each and everyone of your rings are absolutely gorgeous!! 🙂

I have three stone Tanzanite ring with diamonds in between. My fiances grandparents gave it to him to give to me. It was originally from his grandpa to his grandma. The three stones mean Past, Present, Future. Its gorgeous and special. My wedding band will be diamonds all the way around from my grandma.

Kylieb218:  be very gentle with tanzanite. Its a really soft stone. My original engagement ring was tanzanite and I didn’t look after it properly and it broke. Never ever put it into an ultrasonic cleaner!! But its stunning!! I miss mine a lot!

My emerald engagement ring. I always knew I wanted an emerald, but when I saw the design in the store I thought it looked neat. It looks like a combination ring and wedding band in one.

Yipeebee:  That was my first engagement ring. I only wore it for a few months. Its stunning, but very delicate and I lost two of the halo stones in just a few months. I didnt want to keep having to worry about losing them and replacing them, so I got a new ring. I still have that one though! I actually wore it on my right hand at my wedding!

PilotsLocal:  That’s the most beautiful emerald I’ve ever seen! So many of them look so opaque (they remind me of hard candies!) and not shiny.

allyfally:  Thank You! I was really lucky, my Fiance travels a lot for work to Colombia, South America. He has been working with an Emerald guy there for a while to find the perfect Emerald. This one is nearly flawless. Slight inclusions at the base of the stone. Colombian emeralds are so much greener and even have flashes of blue. I have to be careful with it because it is not as hard as a Diamond. I love it!

PilotsLocal:  Thanks. LOVE the green on yours. Is yours a natural emerald or lab created? I prefer the color pop of a lab created emerald a little more.
