Check out Laurie Sarah on Etsy, or gemvara.com.

Mine’s not so much garnet as it is amethyst, so I won’t post it. I love hearing about girls who want gemstone rings though – πŸ™‚

I second looking at gemvara.com. I will be getting my garnet wedding band from them (FI birthsone). They have so many designs and almost all of them can be altered to have garnet instead of the gemstone they are pictured with.

I’ll play. I love showing off my Blue Topaz ring. It has tiny amethysts at each corner, and diamonds all around. (sorry the pic is so big.) PM me if you wanna know where Fiance got it. (You can have other center stones.)

I have a rhodolite garnet, 5mm princess cut.

It also looks pretty cool from the side when the light hits it just right, kind of a nice pink shade.

We ordered from danielsjewelers.com, and it was incredibly low-priced (which, to be honest, was what we were looking for–I didn’t want to wear thousands of dollars on one finger!).

@NoaMarijn: Haha, I saw your first post and was like “Hmm, there’s another garnet ring? MUST FIND!” I totally don’t mind at all if you use it as inspiration–I’m flattered. πŸ™‚ I had to have my band custom-made, but my set still cost around $500. Not a bad price at all.

@NoaMarijn: That’s a really cool way to wear the rings! I was considering wearing mine separately, but it took me forever to get used to wearing just the one on my left hand–I would have had to re-train myself if I wore a right-hand ring as well, lol. I think yellow gold looks fantastic with garnets. Can I see your band? πŸ™‚
