angelwaye :  I love it. I have noticed one prong isn’t fully bent down though.. i’m starting to wonder if my issues with my half eternity would be this recurring if i’d taken it elsewhere. He’s a lovely man but perhaps his eye for detail is a little lacking.

somethingabitdifferent :  It is a lab ruby.  My jeweler ordered it from Chatham gems.  I agree with you about most natural rubies being too light or sometimes dark in color (at least the ones that I’d be able to afford in this size 😄).

angelwaye :  i’m Actually really glad I got them. The setting itself is VERY dainty and the stone is pretty hefty so they feel much more secure than the inspiration ring which had teeney tiny prongs.  They’re much more delicate in person and it makes the ring feel different and special. Very very happy with it. Now to wait on my bands ! I think I am done with rings for a while and it’s time to start building stacker bands.

angelwaye :  i’m with you!! I think a necklace would be incredible. And a bracelet? I don’t wear much either. I def want a necklace and some studs and maybe small huggies.. perhaps a tennis bracelet for my 40th in a few years but other than that I am gearing down too. What a scary thought ha!! We’ll have to find new obsessions.. knitting? Ha.

Can i see the 5 stone ? What repairs does it need? I’m still trying to work out what to do with my 7 stone but it’s being retipped now so once it’s fixed i’ll leave as is. I have a few rings to be resized and then .. peace.

Ugh yes I know what you mean. Tastes and fashions change and hey… this is our expression. That’s what I am running with anyway!

I have fallen down the colored gemstone rabbit hole in a big way. And I am not sure I will ever be done making rings. They are the main type of jewelry I wear.
