@jholler25:  I’ve been looking into these tests, just for fun, but never wanted to pay the $30ish plus shipping.  Now that you found a good deal, I think I’ll order it!  I’m totally Team Green, though…so I’m kinda torn on whether or not I’ll go through with using it!

It looks like fun, but unfortunately their “feedback” is totally skewed.  They have a 98% positivity rating because they are doing a search with “gendermaker was right” -wrong.  Which means anything that says it is wrong is not included in the search. I did a test for “gendermaker was wrong” and got more hits than I did when I searched gendermaker was right.

Not trying to burst your bubble, but please don’t paint the nursery after the results!

I do think however, for the fun, it’s worth it!

Enjoy for fun but defnitely don’t go out and buy a bunch of pink or blue till after your anatomy scan. I have read about and know people who have seen these results turn out very inaccutrate. What was fun for me to do that is actually somewhat accurate is The Nub Theory. Once you get your 12 week NT scan we can look for the nub and see if it’s in line with the female or male side. It’s still not 100% but it’s often much more accurate. My baby boy was predcited as a boy by 95% of the people on here, ingender.com, and other sites that scrutinize these pictures. It’s fun though so why the heck not. it will be fun to see what the outcome is either way and compare.

I did a gendermaker and intelligender for fun: Gendermaker said GIRL and Ingelligender said BOY.  So I guess we will have to wait for the 20 week ultra sound ๐Ÿ™‚

Because of the coupon, I couldn’t help myself.  I bought one.  Just got it today! (wow fast shipping!)  Now to decide to do it now or wait until tomorrow!

@jholler25:  I wasn’t naysaying, I was just being logical.  I know I know we’re pregnant screw logic ๐Ÿ™‚   I was mostly just saying that their 98% was a bit misleading.

I ALWAYS wanted one of these tests, but my husband said they were too expensive.  But at $12.50 he couldn’t really argue!

Let me know what you get!!

Mine said girl as well.  I have been totally feeling boy too!  Seeing as 3 of us now got “girl” on them, maybe it’s typical of that test?  I may order another just to see if it says the same thing.  My curiousity is overwhelming me now LOL!

@jholler25:  & @Schatzie821:  when the hell do you guys have anatomy scans? I want to know if these things are ever accurate!

I have an anatomy scan in 9 day or else i’d jump on this. I am thinking about it even now—but I really can’t handle too much shock in one week. I guess i’ll wait for the real deal but i’ll live vicariously through you 2 til then!

@TurtleDoves:  Mine is on May 24th!  The day after I come back from Jamaica ๐Ÿ™‚  I could have probably gotten an earlier elective ultrasound, but I will have to try and be patient.  And I promise I will let you know if it’s accurate.  I am just super curious to see if 2 tests will say the same thing!

I read some of the 1 star reviews awhile back for both the Gender Maker test and Intelligender test. Almost every single one of the 1 star reviews for Gender Maker said “predicted girl, found out I am having a boy” and almost all of the 1 star reviews for Intelligender said “predicted boy, found out I am having a girl”. So the way I see it, if you get a boy result for Gender Maker, I would be more willing to believe that and I would take the girl result with a grain of salt. However, if you get a girl result with Intelligender, I would be more willing to believe that, and I would take the boy result with a grain of salt. Either way, it’s fun to do but just thought I would throw that out there!

I did an Intelligender test, clearly said boy but I had an elective U/S and we found out girl! I just did mine for fun and to put pictures of the test in a baby book, obviously there is a 50/50 chance Wink
