*hugs*

Don’t be scared. Everything will be a-okay! It sounds like your pregnancy is going along well at this point, no need to worry. Just think of how excited you’re going to be to finally see your LO and find out if it’s a boy or a girl!!

Keep us posted. Hang in there. 🙂 🙂

@Quietserenity:  Thinking of you.

This is how I felt at our scan on Monday. Everything looked good, but I really didn’t enjoy it at all because I was so nervous. Keeping my fingers crossed that yours goes well, good luck!

@Quietserenity:  I so hear you!

I haven’t had my anatomy scan yet (I’m only 15 weeks), but I felt the same way before my NT scan and imagine I will feel it again before my anatomy scan. It was made worse by the fact that no one was allowed to come in with me and the screen was turned away from me, so I had no idea if the tech could see a baby or not. Everything turned out perfectly though!

Having said all that, I don’t have any real advice, as I know how nerve wracking it is. Work on taking a few deep breaths and think about having faith in your body and your baby. I’m sure everything will be perfect!

I have definitely felt that way before EVERY.SINGLE.APPOINTMENT.  As soon as they hear the heart beating with the doppler, or as soon as I see a very active, bouncing/jumping/kicking baby on the u/s screen, I have a wave of relief that just washes over me.  Then I’m ok for a while, but then as I approach my next appointment, I get the same anxiety build up.  You’re not crazy, and you’re not alone.  Best wishes for a wonderful scan, and let us know how it goes!!

I always feel like this too. Even when I’m just going in for a 4 week check up.  Every time I have an appt I tell Darling Husband that I’m sure that this one is going to show something bad.  Every time so far I’ve been wrong.  I think it’s natural to worry.  Excited to hear if oyu’re Team Blue or Team Pink tomorrow =)

@Quietserenity:  I felt this way too, at my first appt today!  I was so nervous, but we got to hear the heartbeat, and it was a relief!  I am so excited for you tomorrow, best wishes!

*hugs* I remember feeling that way and it was super scary!  I bought myself a Doppler so that I could check on my little guy every other day or so, it was a lifesaver.  I was actually able to chill out a bit and enjoy my pregnancy.  Do you think maybe this would be an option for you?

@Quietserenity:  I do sort of understand that mentality, but it’s only hard to find before like 14 weeks.  After that, you can just feel your stomach to know where the baby is.  I am sorry he wouldn’t let you get one though.  I will send some good thoughts your way for you to have a nice calm, worry free night 🙂
