@s.renea9:  So, what’s the problem, then?  Piedmont Park is where you want to have the wedding, it’s within your distance requirement, and it’s within what you want to spend.

The pricing on these venues varies based on date, but you could also look at The Gardens at Great Oaks (Marietta), Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, Cator Woolford Gardens… there’s Houston Mill House, Primrose Cottage, Flint Hill, The Atrium…

As you said, you have many options!

@s.renea9:  I hope this doesn’t sound silly…but I wouldnt look into booking a venue yet until you’re positive you and your fiance are on the same page (assuming everything isn’t resolved yet from your previous posts).  Just lookin’ out for ya…

I’ve been to weddings at both Roswell Founders Hall and Peach Brandy Cottage. Peach Brandy was smaller and less elegant, but would be beautiful for a more country/rustic theme. Roswell was really elegant, and more suited to bigger (200-300 person) weddings.

If you change your mind about how far you are willing to travel, I highly recommend The Farm in Rome, GA. Check it out at thefarmromega.com. It’s gorgeous! We’re having our wedding there in September. Also check out their Facebook page for pictures. They had a really pretty Irish-themed wedding back in March.

@beewannabe:  How much was this venue? I am in love with it, but want to make sure it’s affordable. Also, did you utilize the lodging room they had? Thanks!
