Absolutely it is!  I just try not to get too fired up about idiots.  LOL.  It’s just so ridiculous it almost sounds made up, you know?

that is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard.

MAYBE I would support a bill that would prosecute mothers who intentionally harm their babies while still in the womb (like drug addicts), but like the article says… the language is just ‘too broad’ to really be able to put something like that into legislation.

How insane. This will never become law, thank goodness.

Yeah, I saw this last week. As a woman who delivered a stillborn baby, just the idea that this proposed law was written this way is offensive. Yes, it’s a mistake, but it really bothers me and had me in tears.

I saw this article last week. I got quite a response from people when I posted the article to my FB. It will never go through, still, pisses me off that this idiot lives in my state. How incredibly offensive

What a disgusting waste of time. I dont understand these ridiculous super right-wing politicians. Why waste your time on a bill like this with everything else that is going on in this country? Here’s an idea, work on the economy, the housing market, crime, drugs, give money to schools to better our education system, clean up litter, help preserve national forests and take care of the homeless and needy or any of the thousands of other issues that are WAY more important…

@Soon2BMrsP818: No, you did nothing to offend me. It’s the representative who proposed it. He’s the one who proposed a law which is so poorly written, it would prosecute me.
