Oh Em Gee! I’m doing pink and orange gerberas too! Miss Tattoo’s short centerpieces are lovely, and I’d like a few like that, but I’d also like a few taller, skinny vases with just a few stems in them. Simple, minimalist, and CHEAP! Woot!

What style or theme are you going for? Modern? What color pink and orange? Brights?

I’m ordering all of my gerbera’s from http://www.fiftyflowers.com They are a lot cheaper than a florist or grocery store and come in so many colors! We are doing pink and white.

@Miss Tattoo: I’m also doing DIY gerbera daisies, and I did extensive pricing research… I found that Sam’s Club had the best prices, much cheaper than fiftyflowers. I ordered a test batch and they were beautiful and lasted a full two weeks!!

Here are some taller arangements (I love the simplicity of the second photo):

@NotYourTypicalBride: I’m going to have to check out Sam’s Club in my area! We are having long tables so I want to do the short centerpieces.

@Miss Tattoo: You can order everything from Sam’s online – that’s what I did. The flowers are shipped directly from the growers – mine came from South America.

(P.S. I posted the tall arrangements for the OP. 🙂

@Charleston: Yes, you do have to join, but it doesn’t cost much – maybe $40 – and if your flower order is substantial, you’ll save much more than it costs you.

Love, love, love gerberas! I am considering them for mine. Here’s a tall one that I really liked! You could alternate between pink and orange colored water too! 😉
