@strawbabies:  It’s not bad at all! I find the best way to get through it is just chat with the esthetician. If you can start up a good conversation and keep chatting away it’ll help distract you. If you can do the bikini line waxing then you’ll have no problem at all doing the rest of it. I actually think the labia is the least painful area. For me, the worst part is the pubis mons (I’m taking a physiology course right now so I’m using all technical terms haha), the area directly above the clitoris. But find something to distract you, like a conversation or watch a funny movie on your phone or listen to an iPod, and that will help a TON.

Ask your waxer to use hard wax and get some of that Tend skin or something to prevent ingrowns!

Take 2 Advil 30 minutes before you go.  It’s not bad at all.
