Nope.  I wear a ring on each hand and when I’m getting a manicure I put one in each earring.  I wear hopps so I know exactly where they are until I am all dry,

No, I take it off because I get the parafin wax manicure.

I usually try to. Sometimes I don’t and then I try to slip it off right before the part where they put lotion over your hand. I really do not want that getting on my ring. I would either leave the ring at home or zipper it up in my purse.

I do because my solitaire is rather large and I feel like it gets in the way of the best part: hand massage 🙂 So I wear it on my necklace that I always have on should I need to take my ring off.

Nope. I take my rings off when I put lotion on my hands normally, so i don’t wear my rings during a manicure because of the lotion part. I usually take it off and put them in my wallet before the mani starts so I don’t accidentally leave it behind.

I haven’t gotten my nails done in a while but when I did i got that Shellac gel… and I would have them use that tool to essentially shave off the manicure (like when you use acryllic) and there would be little particles all over my hands! So I would take my ring off and put it on the table in front of me until after the lotion.

I took my rings off and out them on the chain around my neck when I got my nails done before the wedding.

I do the same for weights at the gym… I don’t like having them away from me but I also won’t risk them so it works for me 🙂

My manicurist has a little pewter elephant beside her station for putting rings on (the trunk stands straight up) during manis).

@cph0618:  THANKS! It’s actually a Charm Enhancer Necklace . I love it because it has a seamless link, and I especially like it because I don’t have to take the necklace off. You just “snap” the ring right on.

Check out this board too: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/for-bees-worried-about-losing-their-rings Lots of ideas there if you like fancier. I like mine because it’s simiple and easy so I can wear it every day, and I trust it (most importantly!) to keep my ring safe.

Most people take them off.  Older clients who struggle to get them off obviously leave them.

I always take mine off and set it on the nail station or on my stylist’s hair station. She always does my nails and her station is about 6″ from the nail station. I take my ring off whenever there’s something on my hands, though (lotion, hair product, etc.) so that it doesn’t get all up in the detailing.

I’m always wearing mine, even during manicures.  I just opt out of the lotion.
