@KatandBri:  sure! Lots of people have moissanite/cz or other simulant until they save enough for a real diamond. Or they buy larger sims or larger diamonds. Sometimes whole new rings

The main thing is the commitment and your love!

I got a new ring. I had a solitaire and my husband just got me my dream ring for our one year anniversary!

We are ordering “promise rings” now, becaesu we are both still students at the university and can’t afford anything expensive, to solve this very issue 😉 it will hold us off for a few years until we can make the engagement the big attraction we want it to be 😛

A lot of people in my family redid their rings.  My grandma made a new ring which incorporated her original stones and my mom added more side stones and got a separate anniversary ring band with a lot of stones.  That way you have the sentimental original ring and a new upgraded ring all in one
