(Closed) Getting a nursery chair that doesn't rock/glide?

I think having something that rocks is very helpful.  Many babies like the motion of rocking, so having a chair that moves is really helpful when they get fussy or sleepy.  Although, leather would be really nice, since it’s easy to keep clean!

Yeah, if you cn’t easily reach/operate the lever while 9 months pregnant, you’ll struggle with it while holding an infant, too.  I have a lever on the right side of my rocking chair that locks it in place; it’s pretty hard to reach/pull while holding a sleeping infant unless I get all the way out of the chair.  I do have short arms, though!  🙂
