I didn’t purchase online, but I did make my own veil. My bridal shop wanted $30 for a plain birdcage veil, and I looked at her like, “You’ve got to be kidding me…” Yeah, I bought 3x as much netting and some pearls for it for $12 at the fabric store.

I ordered from Etsy, I just wanted a plain raw edge veil and the jack up in price in the salons is insane! The vendor I ordered from sent me tulle swatches ahead of time so I could pick the one that matched my dress the best!

@Charbelle:  I bought mine one Etsy for $49. It took me a long time to find one that was just right, but I have no regrets 🙂

I’d love to make suggestions for your veil, but it’s hard without knowing what your dress looks like

I purchased mine on Etsy for about $20. There was no way I was going to spend over $100 for a veil from the bridal store when I was only going to be wearing it for a couple of hours.

@O.My.Heart:  LOL it’s okay, I had one bookmarked on Etsy for the longest time, until I found the netting at Joann’s and decided to give it a shot.

I ordered mine from lightinthebox.com The quality was just as good as those I saw in the bridal stores, and it was about 1/6 of the price. I definitely recommend it.

I got mine from http://www.bestbridalprices.com/

It was the same veil (same designer and everything) that I got quoted $500 for at a bridal store, and I think I got it for $200.
