I was going to spend the same amount of money on each girl, but every one of my 7 (yes…7) girls is different. In particular, they fall into 2 camps- half are girly girls and the other half are really NOT girly girls. I was thinking of getting the girly girls a coach clutch and pearl earrings. I was thinking of getting the non-girly girls a kindle. Thoughts?

why not just buy them individual gifts that suit their styles

Hmm. As a very girly girl, I can say that I would still want a Kindle more :). Maybe either buy them all the same thing and personalize it a bit (like buy a kindle, but download a book on it for them that would suit their tastes) or go completely different for everyone? Both gifts do sound awesome, though!

I’m buying my girls (only 3, but vastly different personalitiies) different versions of the same thing. I’m midway between girly and tomboy, and I still find jewelry that I like. I think if you vary too much, especially with such different items and such a large group, there’s too much potential for jealousy.
And i wouldn’t like a kindle. 😉

I’m getting everyone different things! That way it can be personalized for each girl’s style and our unique relationship.

I was planning on getting different things as well, and not wedding related at all! My favorite gift I ever got as a bridesmaid was a pair of really good seats to my favorite baseball team. I thought that was awesome!
Another idea I had was instead of a physical gift, treating my girls to a baller night out on the town. Go to a show, then a fancy dinner, then get bottle service at one of our favorite clubs. If I could swing that it would be super fun!

I had 6 bridesmaids, and got each of them different things that suited them individually. I think it’s a great idea, and they actually received gifts that they loved!

I think doing different gifts can be a good idea, but you have to be careful to buy each girl something they really want. You don’t want any girls to be jealous of what the other got.

Get them something non-wedding related that fits their personal interests and hobbies. Think of it as though you were shopping for them for Christmas or a birthday if that makes it easier.
A Kindle for each girl is very generous! I know I’d prefer that over a clutch.

I would want a Kindle over the clutch and I’m a girly-girl. Go all Kindle!
