I don’t think people would notice–I had them done twice by two different photographers so the style is different but I think people would just see that the photos are of you more than the style of photography

also its great experience to become so comfortable in front of the camera before the most photographed day of your life, your wedding day!

You can always ask the photographer you chose to do your wedding to sub your e pic sitting for more time or pictures for your wedding. That is what we are doing.  I don’t want e pics done so our photographer is taking the time she would have spent doing the e pics and adding it to our wedding same for the actual pictures.

I say it’s always okay to have NICE pictures of you as a couple. We don’t get in pictures nearly enough – so if it’s included, I’d say go for it!

Actually, I had a similar experience. But instead of getting them done again, I just asked the photographer if there was something else I could get in exchange for the e-pics included in the package. She agreed to give me a “free” coffee table album!

I say go for it…we’re going to have them done twice intentionally…we’re not getting married until 2012 and I’m doing weight watchers (not for my wedding but because I’m trying to get rid of type II diabetes) and I’d like to see the change…so we’re getting a set done this fall, and one next spring.  One perk is that my SIL is our photographer so they’re not costing us anything.

I say if it’s in your package, go for it.  Though @Barn offers a great idea of asking them to change the package.

We’re getting ours done twice. Kinda. We got one set done with our wedding photographer when we went home around Christmas time. These are amazing pictures and I love them, but we’re doing a second set with our dogs as family/engagement pictures. I’ve reset my ring since the first pictures, and I want some of the ring obviously. But we’re really doing the second shoot because I want some professional pictures of our furbabies to include in our home.

Do both! Especially if you can afford it! People will have no clue unless you point it out. Unless you’re hair is like way short in one and way long in the other. Even then, they’ll probably think they’re just pictures from the years y’all have been together… not necessarily e-pics! 🙂

@FutureMrsMcDermott: eek! yeah, mine’s a lady. if i had a male photographer, FH would say “these are great!” and then go kill him. lol. i’ve heard some photographers will have a female assistant do the shoot though, so that’s always something to check out if you are interested.

I say do it. Even though your other pics are gorgeous, it doesnt hurt to have more professional pics of you guys:) And no one will notice the difference. I have to add though since I do not live far from you, Fiance proposed to me on Santa Barbara beach!!!!!
