My Future Mother-In-Law issues are much more minor than a lot of stories I’ve heard. She’s actually wonderful and really wants to be involved, but I don’t have much for her to do. She lives across the country and every time we talk on the phone, she asks what she can do to help (and not just in the polite way; she actually wants to). My venue takes care of food, DJ, flowers, decor. I’ve got invitations under control, and she did help with getting addresses. She came dress shopping with me once when she was visiting. We’re not planning on having favors. I think she’s under the impression that my mom and I are doing all this planning without her, but there’s really not much to be done at this point. Does anyone have suggestions for tasks that could be delegated to make people feel more involved with the process?
