@luli29: Yup, just let them know… it shouldn’t affect the price much either since it’s literally the same process.

@luli29: Ahh! You and I are in the same exact boat! I have an appt. in 2 weeks for a cut and color and am thinking of going with highlights, staying with the natural brown/caramel against my dark brown hair. I don’t want to look too different from myself, just pumped up a little. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks for posting that photo, too. That is *exactly* what I pictured in my mind. Phew! Gotta love the Bee! Good luck with your hairdo. Can’t wait to see how it turns out for you!

It does not look bad when you pull your hair up.  I get partial all the time. In fact full highlight’s always dry my hair out.

I was in the same boat as you! I wanted something subtle.  I went for full highlights.  Here’s a pic!

@luli29: I only get partials.  In fact, every few months I have them dye my hair darker underneath and just do partial blonde highlights.  I like the depth it gives my hair.  I wear my hair up all the time, and don’t think it looks bad at all, but that’s the look I’m going for (the darker on bottom & lighter on top).  Then sometimes I will do a partial/highlight lowlight to blend it all together, but I never get full highlights.

@luli29:  I think it looks good…very subtle & natural.  But if you want it more noticable, I would have them do brighter highlights…. but make sure it’s what you really want before you do it b/c it will stand out quite a bit since your hair is so dark ๐Ÿ™‚

My advice as a hairstylist is to bring a pic of what you really want so the hairstylist doesnt have to guess and doesnt get it wrong.

PS I love highlighting ๐Ÿ™‚
