I was really planning on it and figured that was one of the benefits of a long engagment (: but then I got really sick and I haven’t been able to work out 🙁

I have lost 20 lbs just from eating way less though. I’ve been sick (constant nausea/cramping around my bellybutton) for four months and the doctors have no clue what’s wrong with me!! Ugh so frustrating!

My partner & I definitely want to get in better shape before the big day. We recently had the stepson move out & tried to turn his room into a mini gym LOL. But he & his girlfriend had to move back for a couple of weeks & have only just left today. The gym will soon be back!!

I have a little over a year and a half before our big day, Fiance and I are both in the process of losing weight. I still have a long way to go but im well on my way!

@kat2014:  I am using MFP and love it, Fi is doing it totally on his own. He basically lives at the gym these daysl lol. Now that we are having nicer weather, the eating healthy part has become alot easier, because we grill almost every night

Got my gym room back!! I’ll go look into that myfitnesspal – I’ve previously used the Calorie King site to track food etc & it’s great

I’m getting married June 2013 but have been engaged since Dec 2010 – it’s a looooong engagement. But as you say, plenty of time to get in shape! I joined a gym last October and have been combining Pilates, Zumba and various aerobics/steps classes plus trying to watch what i eat. Dropped about 15 lbs so far, another 15 to go!

Does anyone else find the prospect of waiting so long a bit frustrating? I kind of reached breaking point a few weeks ago after a flurry of weddings of friends who got engaged well after me. Just felt like ‘let’s just get it over with alright! No more waiting!’.
