mrsking3:  Sorta…he usually wants convenience food, but he’s not really trying to lose weight. I am and I cook for us. If he doesn’t like what I make, he’s welcome to make himself something else. 

Last night, he got pizza before I got home to cook. Normally I have no control around pizza, but I limited myself to 2 slices then had some fruit. I was full and told myself to stop. It’s a daily struggle, but ulitmately, I’m responsible for my eating habits. And I want to be fit more than I want to eat half a pizza.

dracarys:  Most days I have self control but some days I dont which is bad… I too love pizza which is hard for me to say no to. However, I will try to keep the same mind set as you in that I want to be fit more then I want the pizza 🙂

mrsking3:  I second that – he turns his nose to healthy food & doesn’t gain an ounce from unhealthy food. I like having dinner together, but I don’t want to make two meals. He’s been getting better but I still make a whole lot of veggies for myself and that’s what I have mostly.

wanderingthoughts:  Frustrating isnt it? My fiance wont eat veggies.. nothin green.. he turns his nose up to it. The only veggie he will consider is potatos of course and every so often carrots.. but that is it.. I personally looooove veggies…

dracarys:  Thanks for that girl. I am trying to be more consistent as of late. I have this reoccuring nightmare that my wedding dress wont fit so I think if nothing else that is enough motivations right there!

I hope I can get into shape! I had a foot injury last fall & between that & dating my wonderful fiance, who is a fantastic cook & enjoys good wine/beer, I’ve gained 10-15 lbs.

I just got a new job and I’m all over the place sometimes so I hope with that & back on my committed work out schedule (I’m either all on or all off) & hopefully running again, that I can get there (I was running half marathons, he does triathalons & did his first half IronMan).

Oh, and eating healthy, thing is, we’re both heatlhy people don’t eat out much (bc we like our cooking better) but I was used to eating salads & cottage cheese where as he cooks full meals…I guess my body needed to gain that weight.

Sweatin’ for the ‘Weddin! 🙂
