Carve out some time for yourself the night before. No projects, no planning, just you and your close ladies or your mom or even just you alone, relaxing. Biggest regret is that I didn’t do this and my night before was super stressful.

There is a point that you have to give up control – what is going to happen is going to happen. No one really knows what you planned/envisioned, so no one will know if something does/doesn’t happen that was suppoed to and whatever happens will be fine! For me, that happened when we checked into the hotel the day before – I was done planning. I relaxed with some wine and enjoyed time with family and friends from out of town. I hear stories of brides decorating or doing stuff the night before – F that. Be done by then and relax.

The whole thing goes by so fast. Immediately after our ceremony, our caterers wisked my DH and I into a private room, brought us a plate of food and got us drinks. Then shut the door (we locked it for like 5 minutes) – so we could have some private time together and get a little food. This time with my DH was one of my favorite moments from the wedding. Also, it kinda forced me to eat, I probably wouldn’t have eaten at all if I didn’t do that (but we had a cocktail reception, not a sit down dinner).

Get some time with your DH on your wedding day, just the 2 of you.

My To Do List is Shockingly Small. It’s just a bunch of Coordinating vendors, last minute pick-ups, and a few things to go shop for this weekend. I can’t wait for the day to be here!

Good Luck ladies, and Congratulations!

don’t let the small stuff bug you.  enjoy your day.  things will probably go wrong, but it is out of your control and enjoy it the best you can.

also, eat breakfast or lunch.  i felt it was rude to eat during speeches ( i should have).  i got up for a second and when i got back, my dinner was gone.

Another 9/23 here!

I had the worst nightmare last night that I forgot to pack EVERYTHING. So I’m making my list and checking it twice now haha.
