Tixi:  Yessss I totally thought your dress looked like one of the designs from Leanne Marshall. Your seamstress did a fantastic job and I think you look amazing.

The only thing I would change is the pointy parts in the neckline that you mentioned. I really love the rest of it, honest!

Tixi:  I like it! If you want to get the points rounded out, go to a quality tailor. It looks great however! Post a pic of whatever you decided to wear!

Tixi:  Don’t worry about the wrinkles, nobody notices things like that, but if you gave time I’d get the pointy bits smoothed and it’ll be perfect!!!

Ditto previous posters, I was all set for an ugly dress mess but it’s very pretty and you look good in it.

I like the layered skirt and the buttons/pearls on the back – a similar little belt or sash might be nice. I’m not sure I’d have picked the points on the bust, but actually I think they good on you, and suit the structured style of the bodice.

When it’s zipped up properly it might sit better? And as others have suggested a good steaming might help.

I think you look great and have no reason for dress regret.

I like the points.  As stated by other bees, it’s unique and special.  I wouldn’t change a thing!

I really like the design of your dress, the pointy neckline and bodice design makes it so fun and sheike, I don’t see a problem with it at all. I’m not an expert on this but would steaming the dress help with the wrinkled fabric?

The style of the dress suits a beach wedding and teaming it with bold accessories and a thin embellished belt would make a huge difference like statement headpiece+statement bracelet/bangle or statement/chunky necklace+nice earrings etc.

At the end of the day, it is you wearing the dress and not us so the decision is up to you. If I was a guest at your wedding, I would not think you were a joke.

Best of luck! : )

Tixi:  I really like the dress!

You could take it to a local seamstress and see what she could do about the neckline if you don’t like it.

As for the wrinkles, get yourself a good garment steamer. The dress looks like it is made of chiffon which is prone to wrinkles (mine is of the same material). I bought this garment steamer and it works like a charm!

Agree with everyone who says they like it!  I love that it’s totally beach appropriate while still having structure.  Once it’s steamed it’ll look great, and I think the pointy bits are unique and cool.  You look great in it!

I love your dress and I love the bust line. I think rounded sweethearts are boring as hell. the points on yours makes it more interesting and fashion forward.

gelaine22:  This.

Tixi: I think it’s lovely, and agree that a big statement necklace would really set it off.

I actually really love this dress. The style is unique & edgy yet still romantic. That being said, it’s your dress and your wedding! If you don’t feel comfortable in it, and money isn’t an issue, I say buy another one. You only get to do this once (hopefully)!
