I’ve been engaged during law school.  You can do summer after 2L.  Get married in July so you have some time and aren’t distracted when studying for exams.  you will need a week off from your clerkship or associate job.  They usually are accomodating.

You can do summer after 1L, again I’d do it in july.  but you could do it a few weeks after your exams and manage just fine.

DO NOT DO IT SUMMER AFTER 3L.

Other than 3L summer, having a wedding in law school isn’t that bad.  I’m a litigator, as is my husband.  I can tell you I had way more free time and less stress when I was a law student.  My caseload….is unreal.  I yearn for law school now. 🙂
