Is this normal? I was SO good up until yesterday, when it all hit me like a mack truck. Nothing like cold feel or “what am I doing”…just oh my god…I’m getting MARRIED. This is my wedding. This is the biggest moment of my life. Tonight I cried when Fiance and I left my parents house after discussing last minute things becuase it was the last time I was going to be there as an unmarried woman! It’s just so much, so overwhelming.

Not married yet, but I think what you’re feeling is perfectly ok 🙂 Sorry I couldn’t be of greater help.

Good to know I’m not a ball of anxiety for no reason when everyone else experiences calm and serene wedding bliss! I am feeling literally EVERYTHING right now…so much more overwhelming than I thought. For a few days I was worried that I wasn’t feeling enough…I wasn’t crying thinking of dancing with my dad or reciting my vows, etc. But now…omg. I’m crying just thinking of dropping our dog off at camp tomorrow for his two-night stay. Did not expect this!!

@MrsDrRose612: not married yet, but all of my friends, sisters and sister in law said they had that feeling right before. I remember my sister being like..” holy sh*t, im really getting married tomorrow” haha enjoy it! and congrats!

@MrsDrRose612: Yes, this is perfectly normal. Just wait until you get pregnant, haha! I cried at every stupid little thing the entire nine months, even dorky commercials, and I’m so not a sentimental person usually.
Seriously, weddings are stressful and you’re approaching a major life-changing event. It’s just normal overwhelmed-bride-stress tears, you’ll be fine. They’re also known as “happy-excited-scared” tears.

Completely normal! I think that it would be weird if you didn’t freak out a little. It’s a big day, and a big commitment and the fact that it’s hitting you like this just means that you understand what a big commitment it is and that you are taking it seriously. Take a couple deep breaths, drink a glass of wine, take a bubble bath, whatever you need to destress.

I am a week out and going through the same thing. My girls wanted to take me out for a “last happy hour while we are all single gals” this weekend and it brought tears to my eyes.
Totally normal, in my opinion.

Yes! Totally normal! I think it’s better to have these emotions two days before. I had my moment right after everyone got out of the limo. I told the driver I needed a minute b/c I was freaking out! I was getting MARRIED! Holy frickin crap!
Just lots of deep breaths and all will be great! Congratulations and hope you have a wonderful time this weekend!!!

I sure hope it’s normal!!! This morning as I arrived at work, it hit me, this is my last day working as a single women!!!! I felt so nauseated!!! I think I have been so busy planning and making sure things are in order I have neglected to actually think about getting MARRIED!!!!! Good luck on your big day!!!
