I was just wondering if anyone knows if it possible to get married, while in two different countries, we are both out of the US, and will not be together until March, but we would like to get married soon. I don’t want a big wedding, just the easiest way to go about doing this. Anything would b helpful, thank you 🙂
(he is Militry, I am not… we are both American)

As long as you meet the requirements for the country you get married in, the US (and other countries) will recognize the marriage as legal.
I’m not exactly what you’re asking, but I seriously doubt that any country would marry two people without both of them being physically present.

I agree with PP.
If you’re both planning on going back to the US for a wedding then I don’t think there is a problem (though I know some religious ceremonies have pre-marital requirements).
In regards to planning the wedding: I suggest hiring a planner.

@IncessantC: I found a links for you http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_marriage. Now remember this is wikipedia and not 100% reliable, but it does give you a starting ground of which to start your enquiries.

Unless you’re in a state that allows proxy marriage, you’ll probably need to do a double proxy marriage. I’m fairly certain only one or two states will do those, Montana being one of them. I hope you figure it out!
