I just cleared up my back! I went to see a dermatolgist, they put me on an oral medication called Spironolactone for hormonal acne…which is a very common reason for back acne. It took about 2 months before I was completely cleared up!!! Yea!
Now for the scars leftover….I’m using Estee Lauder’s night repair and it has really really helped tone down the dark spots leftover!!
Also….another post above said something about getting a back scrubber for the shower….yes! Our backs are hard to reach, so we don’t get as clean as we should back there!
Wash your bras after each use…and never wear them to bed! Good Luck!!

Your hair conditioner is a huge culprit. Pull your hair up if it’s long after you rinse your hair then wash your back.
I use the Pan Oxyl bar, which you can find at most drugstores. I use a back scrubber-loofah. This needs to dry well between use and replaced often to avoid bacteria growth.
After I get out of the shower, I pat my back dry. Spray my back with a mix of witch hazel and tea tree oil. Add a about 1/4 tsp of tea tree to a bottle of witch hazel. Then spray into a spray bottle or just use cotton balls.
You can get a prescription for Retin A, which may help the brown spots. It will bleach clothing, so you will need to wear a white shirt to bed.
