Im getting nervous now! My dress is already bought and paid for but I never tried it on. Its Mori Lee 3116. I just fell in love with it at first sight. I did try on a dress that is a similar shape BUT as you can see, I have absolutely NO hips to speak of. Now Im wondering if I will look totally weird in this dress made perfect for an hourglass figure when I am not an hourglass…do you think I made a mistake???

No! You will be beautiful! The corset will pull you in to give you a more defined waist line. You could even ask your seamstress to take it in more at the waist to give you more of an hourglass! No worries! 🙂

Yeah you can ask to have it taken in at the waist more, and maybe even let out in the hips a little bit. I think it’ll look great tho! The model doesn’t have huge hips either.

I think you look absolutely fab!! It’s a beautiful dress!
To be honest, I think most people will be distracted by your other assets! You look stunning and I agree the corset pulls your waist in which accentuates your hips too!

You look great in that dress so I’m sure you’re going to look great in the one you bought. And you do have hips. They’re just overshadowed by the girls.
