@trulyblessed: this is a great idea!!!  I had NO IDEA what I was in for when I got off the pill late October.  I think this will be helpful for bees that are thinking about this too!  I remember thinking I was going crazy those first two weeks.  High anxiety, horribly painful breasts, cramping.  My skin flared up a bit but it’s back to normal now.  For me the biggest issue has been dealing with a real period now, with cramping and sore bb’s.  I’m still waiting for my cycles to regulate.  They are out of wack right now, gah.  Good luck!!!

I’m a July bride too and just had my IUD removed on Monday, because I want to be able to skip my period the week of my wedding and our honeymoon — so I’m back on the patch for thr next 5 months, and we plan on TTC as soon as we can. So I am having the opposite problem< my hormones have been insane this week! lol

@trulyblessed: I know exactly what you mean, about being scared of the UNKNOWN. This is my first time ever TTC and being off the pill, and I’m worried about whether or not I have had issues this whole time that the pill was masking.  And I worry about whether or not I’m able to conceive.  aaaaaaaaaa!!!  I think it’s very smart of you to get off the pill now though.  I think that because you are 6 months away from your wedding, that is enough time to get a handle on regulating your cycles, etc! 🙂

I’m so sorry to hear about your mom!!  I am sending prayers your way.  Here are my updates being off BC for three months:  periods are still erratic and difficult to time.  I’ve been having mid-cycle spotting, and my periods vary in length between, which I addressed with a GYN a few days ago.  She thinks it’s my body still trying to become regular after so many years.  She wants to see me again in April to determine if they need to be more aggressive with me,and is glad I was proactive and didn’t wait the full “year” to address my concerns.

Best of luck to you!!!
