Eat more protein. It will help keep you fuller for longer.

Drink more water, before and after a meal and snacks, fills you up without calories!

@Paigey:  agreed. Also, watch your sugar & white carb intake, that will make you hungrier sooner.

If I have the urge to eat out of boredom, I just have an iced tea sweetened with stevia or some soda water with lime. That usually does the trick.

If you are really hungry, don’t ever just not eat at all. Its a good call drinking water first since often thirst can mimic hunger. But if after a glass, you are still hungry, eat something! A piece of fruit, some steamed veggies, a piece of whole grain toast. Not eating when you are genuinely hungry is setting yourself up for failure.

Just need to shrink your stomach.  It’s the hardest thing in the world, but it’s do-able.  Pre-occupy your mind as well.

I struggle with this too. I find that if I keep a bag of pistachios handy (but out of sight) and eat a dozen whenever i feel really hungry, but I usually drink some water first in case I’m just actually thirsty.

Eat things high in protein/fiber. Bring fruit/veggies with you to snack on when your hungry.

More protein & more water should do the trick! 🙂
